Title: Sale of Movable Property

.....as an execution or endorsement by the party. (2) Such execution or endorsement may be in the following form, namely :-- A.B. by C.D. Judge of the Court of (or as the case may be), in a suit by E.F. against A.B. (3) Until the transfer of such negotiable instrument or share, the Court may, by order, appoint some person to receive any interest or dividend due thereon and to sign a receipt for the same ; and any receipt so signed shall be as valid and effectual for all purposes as if the same had been signed by the party himself. 81. Vesting order in case of other property In the case of any movable property not hereinbefore provided for, the Court may make an order vesting such property in the purchaser or as he may direct; and such property shall vest accordingly.

The Punjab Requisitioning and Acquisition of Movable Property Act, 1978 Complete Act

Title: Disposal of Movable Property

(1) With respect to the disposal of movable property belonging to Council the Chairperson may, in his discretion, dispose of by sale or otherwise, any movable property belonging to the Council not exceeding in value in each instance one thousand rupees, or such higher amount as the Council may prescribe, or let out on hire any movable property or grant a lease of any immovable property belonging to the Council including any right of gathering and taking fruits and the like, for a period not exceeding one year at a time; (2) In cases not covered by sub-section (1), the Chairperson may, with the sanction of the Council, lease, sell, let out on hire or otherwise transfer any movable property belonging to the Council.

Title: Application of Movable Property to Payment of Debts Where Domicile Not in India

.....value of 10,000 rupees, debts on instruments under seal to the amount of 10,000 rupees and debts on instruments not under seal to the same amount. The creditors holding instruments under seal receive half of their debts out of the proceeds of the moveable estate. The proceeds of the immovable estate are to be applied in payment of the debts on instruments not under seal until one-half of such debts has been discharged. This Will leave 5,000 rupees which are to be distributed rateably amongst all the creditors without distinction, in proportion to the amount which may remain due to them. ______________________ 1. Title: Charge on Crops and Other Movable Property

State: Karnataka

.....of his interest in such crops or produce, in favour of a credit agency as security for the financial assistance given to him. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 or any other law for the time being in force, no charge in respect of financial assistance given by a co-operative society to an agriculturist shall have priority over charge on the crop raised by him, standing or otherwise, or any other movable property in respect of any financial assistance given to him by a credit agency: Provided that the financial assistance given by the credit agency is prior in point of time to that of any loan advanced to him by the co-operative society. (3) A credit agency may distrain and sell through an official designated in this behalf by the State Government the crops or other produce or other movables charged to that credit agency to the extent of the agriculturists interest therein and appropriate the proceeds of such sale towards all moneys due to the credit agency from that agriculturist. _______________________ 1. Title: Debts Secured on Movable Property

.....II.--Where any motor vehicle or other movable property has been purchased with money the whole or any part of which has been advanced by a creditor who retains the ownership thereof by way of security but allows the debtor to use it with his permission, the property shall for the purposes of this section be deemed to be pledged property of the debtor in the possession of the creditor. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, the creditor shall be entitled to receive, and to give a valid discharge in respect of, any sum due under this Act or under any other law for the time being in force from an insurance company in respect of any claim arising out of the loss or destruction of the pledged property, but the creditor shall, in any case where the sum received from the insurance company is greater than the amount of the debt due to him, pay over the surplus to the debtor.
