Finance Act 1994 Section 65

.....to carry out any 80[service, repair, reconditioning or restoration] of any motor car, light motor vehicle or two wheeled motor vehicle manufactured by such manufacturer; 39[(9a) "automated teller machine" means an interactive automatic machine designed to dispense cash, accept deposit of cash, transfer money between bank accounts and facilitate other financial transactions; (9b) "automated teller machine operations, maintenance or management service" means any service provided in relation to automated teller machines and includes site selection, contracting of location, acquisition, financing, installation, certification, connection, maintenance, transaction processing, cash forecasting, replenishment, reconciliation and value-added services; (9c) "banker to an issue" means a bank included in the Second Schedule to the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934(2 of 1934), carrying on the activities relating to an issue including acceptance of application, application money, allotment money and call money, refund of application money, payment of dividend and interest warrants;] (10) "banking" has the meaning assigned to it in clause (b) of section 5 of the B anking.....

Haj Committee Rules, 1963 Complete Act

.....Government; (ii) the contributions to provident funds, pensions, gratuities, leave and compassionate allowances payable under the provisions of the Act or the rules made there under; (iii) any other sum which may be legally payable by the Committee; (iv) payment of travelling allowance and daily allowance to members of the Committee not resident in Bombay at rates admissible to Grade I officers of the Government of India; and (v) payment of subsidy to any Haj Committee established in any State of India which shall not be more than one-third of the amount collected as registration fee of pilgrim passes of the pilgrims belonging to the State concerned. Regulation 2 Definitions .-(1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) "Act" means the Insurance Act, 1938 (4 of 1938); (b) "Authority" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority established under sub-section (1) of S.3 of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (c) All words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Insurance Act, 1938 (4 of 1938), or in the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999), or in the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in those Acts. ..... NOTES Good faith.-See section 2(7) of the Indian Limitation Act, 1908, section 52 of the Indian Penal Code and section 178 of the Indian Contract Act. An ex parte decree was passed on February 12, 1935 by Ahmednagar Court and it was transferred to Poona Court on February 25, 1935. The decree was set aside on January 15, 1936. Again an ex parte decree was passed in 1936. No darkhast for execution of the subsequent decree was filed till June, 16, 1947, but four darkhasts were filed successively in Poona Court to execute the earlier decree of 1935 and were disposed off in 1936, 1939, 1942 and 1946 respectively. A fifth darkhast was filed in 1946 to execute the earlier decree and an application made in 1947 to amend the darkhast so as to execute the subsequent decree. It was held, that the decree holder was not entitled to claim relief under section 14(2) of the Indian Limitation Act as the previous darkhasts were not prosecuted in good faith.-Sadashiv Shivramv.
