.....conferred by sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 6 of the Fifth Schedule to the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to make the following Order, namely :-- 1. (1) This Order may be called the Scheduled Areas (Part B States) Order, 1950. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. .....ACT, 1956 MEDICAL COUNCIL ACT, 1956 102 of 1956 30th December, 1956 "The objects of this Bill are to amend the Indian Medical Council Act, 1933 (Act 27 of 1933)- (a) to give representation to licentiate members of the medical profession, a large number of whom are still practising in the country, (b) to provide for the registration of the names of citizens of India who have obtained foreign medical qualifications which are not at present recognised .under the existing Act; (e) to provide for the temporary' recognition of medical qualifications granted by medical institutions in countries outside India with which no scheme of reciprocity exists in cases where the medical practitioners concerned are attached for the time being to any medical institution in India for the purpose of teaching or research or for any charitable object; (d) to provide for the formation of a Committee of Post-graduate Medical Education for the purpose of assisting the Medical Council of India to prescribe standards of post-graduate medical education for the guidance of Universities and to advise Universities in the matter of securing uniform standards for post-graduate medical education.....
