Foreign Marriage Act, 1969 Complete Act

.....certificate being entered in the Marriage Certificate Book by the Marriage Officer, the certificate shall be deemed to be conclusive evidence of the fact that a marriage under this Act has been solemnized, and that all formalities respecting the residence of the party concerned previous to the marriage and the signatures of witnesses have been complied with. SECTION 15: VALIDITY OF FOREIGN MARRIAGES IN INDIA Subject to the other provisions contained in this Act a marriage solemnized in the manner provided in this Act shall be good and valid in law. SECTION 16: NEW NOTICE WHEN MARRIAGE NOT SOLEMNIZED WITHIN SIX MONTHS - Whenever a marriage is not solemnized within six months from the date on which notice thereof has been given to the Marriage Officer as required under section 5-or where the record of a case has been transmitted to the Central Government under section 10-, or where an appeal has been preferred to the Central Government under section 11-, within three months from the date of decision of the Central Government in such case or appeal, as the case may be, the notice and all other proceedings arising therefrom shall be deemed to have lapsed, and no Marriage Officer.....

.....TO LUNATICS If any depositor becomes insane or otherwise incapable of managing his affairs, and if such insanity or incapacity is proved to the satisfaction of the Secretary of the Bank in which his deposit may be, such Secretary may, from time to time, make payments out of the deposit to any proper person, and the receipt of such person, for money paid under this section, shall be a sufficient discharge therefor. Where a committee or manager of the depositor's estate has been duly appointed, nothing in this section authorizes payments to any person other than such committee or manager. SECTION 13: PAYMENT OF MARRIED WOMEN'S DEPOSITS Any deposit made by or on behalf of a married woman, or by or on behalf of a woman who afterwards marries, may be paid to her, whether or not 21 [ section 20 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 ] applies to her marriage; and her receipt for money paid to her under this section shall be a sufficient discharge therefor. SECTION 14: PROTECTION OF ACTION TAKEN IN GOOD FAITH No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Secretary or any other officer of the Government in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under.....

INSECTICIDES ACT, 1968 INSECTICIDES ACT, 1968 46 of 1968 2nd September, 1968 An Act to regulate the import, manufacture, sale, transport, distribution and use of insecticides with a view to prevent risk to human beings or animals, and for matters connected therewith Be it enacted by Parliament in the Nineteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows: SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Insecticides Act, 1968.
