BE it enacted by Parliament in the Eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- [a] For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see Gaz. of India, 1957, Extra., Pt. II, section 2, p. 392; and for Report of the Joint Committee, see p. 997.PRELIMINARY SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Mines and Minerals4["(Development and Regulation)"] Act, 1957. (2) It extends1to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on such date2as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. (1) This Act may be called the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015.
