Section 138 - Supplementary provisions as to convention applications "(1) Where a convention application is made in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter, the applicant shall furnish, when required by the Controller, in addition to the complete specification, copies of the specifications or corresponding documents filed or deposited by the applicant in the patent office of the convention country as referred to in section 133 verified to the satisfaction of the Controller, within the prescribed period from the date of communication by the Controller (2) If any such specification or other document is in a foreign language, a translation into English of the specification or document, verified by affidavit or otherwise to the satisfaction of the Controller,.....

Section 11 - Priority dates of claims of a complete specification (1) There shall be a priority date for each claim of a complete specification. (2) Where a complete specification is filed in pursuance of a single application accompanied by- (a) a provisional specification; or (b) a specification which is treated by virtue of a direction under sub-section (3) of section 9 as a provisional specification, and the claim is fairly based on the matter disclosed in the specification referred to in clause (a) or clause (b), the priority date of that claim shall be the date of filing of the relevant specification. (3) Where the complete specification is filed or proceeded with in pursuance of two or more applications accompanied by such specifications as are mentioned in sub-section (2) and the claim is fairly based on the matter disclosed-- (a) in one of those specifications, the priority date of that claim shall be the date of the filing of the application accompanied by that specification; (b) partly in one and.....

Title: Supplementary Provisions as to Convention Applications

.....documents filed or deposited by the applicant in the patent office of the convention country as referred to in section 133 verified to the satisfaction of the Controller, within the prescribed period from the date of communication by the Controller (2) If any such specification or other document is in a foreign language, a translation into English of the specification or document, verified by affidavit or otherwise to the satisfaction of the Controller, shall be1[furnished when required by the Controller] (3) For the purposes of this Act, the date on which an application was made in a convention country is such date as the Controller is satisfied, by certificate of the official chief or head of the patent office of the convention country or otherwise, is the date on which the application was made in that convention country. 2[(4) An international application filed under the Patent Cooperation Treaty designating India shall have effect of filing an application for patent under section 7, section 54 and section 135, as the case may be, and the title, description, claim and abstract and drawings, if any, filed in the international application shall be taken as complete.....

.....follows:- 1.Short title.--- This Act may be called the Opium and Revenue Laws (Extension of Application) Amendment Act, 1951. 2. Amendment of section 3, Act XXXIII of 1950.-- For clause (b) of section 3 of the Opium and Revenue Laws (Extension of Application) Act, 1950, the following clauses shall be substituted and shall be deemed always to have been substituted, namely: "(b) in the disposal of cases transferred to the Central Commission under clause (a), it shall have and exercise the same powers as it has and exercises in the investigation of cases referred to it under the Taxation on Income (Investigation Commission) Act, 1947 (XXX of 1947), and shall be entitled to act for the same term as under sub-section (3) of section 4 of that Act: (bb) any decision given, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, by the Chief Revenue Authority of Travancore or of Travancore-Cochin in the exercise or purported exercise of any powers conferred on it by any law for the time being in force in the State shall be deemed to be a decision given by the Income-tax authority for the purposes of sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Travancore Taxation on Income.....
