The Assam Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1953 Complete Act

.....purpose all appeals against an order under S. 4 of the principal Act shall be deemed to be application for review under sub-S. (3) of S. 5 of this Act. COMMENTS Under this Act, the State Government is the Appellate Authority or such officer as the State Government may prescribe in this behalf. The present section has been substituted by Assam Amendment Act XXII of 1956. Section 9 before its amendment by Act XXII of 1956 of effective from 14-11-1956 read as follows: "9. Any person aggrieved by the decision of the licensing authority under any provision of this Act within such time as may be prescribed, appeal to the State Government or to such officer as the State Government may prescribe in this behalf and the State Government or the officer, as the case may be, may make such order in the case as it or he thinks fit." 10. CINEMATOGRAPH ACT, 1952 CINEMATOGRAPH ACT, 1952 [Act No. 37 of Year 1952, dated 21-3-1952] An Act to make provision for the certification of cinematograph films for exhibition and for regulating exhibitions by means of cinematographs Be it enacted by Parliament as follows:- PART I: PRELIMINARY SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called the Cinematograph Act, 1952. .....as this particular subject is concerned, namely, the subject of grant of the licences to exhibit cinema shows, the provisions of the Cinematograph Act, 1918 (Act 2 of 1918) are still in force in Part A and Part B States which includes the State of U.P. THE KERALA CINEMAS (REGULATION) ACT, 1958 THE KERALA CINEMAS (REGULATION) ACT, 1958 (ACT 32 OF 1958) [1] An ACT to provide for the regulation of exhibitions by means of cinematographs in the State of Kerala .
