EMPLOYEES' STATE INSURANCE ACT, 1948 Section 41

Title: Recovery of contribution from immediate employer

(1) A principal employer, who has paid contribution in respect of an employee employed by or through an immediate employer, shall be entitled to recover the amount of the contribution so paid (that is to say the employer's contribution, as well as the employee's contribution, if any) from the immediate employer, either by deduction from any amount payable to him by the principal employer under any contract, or as a debt payable by the immediate employer. 1[(1A) The immediate employer shall maintain a register of employees employed by or through him as provided in the regulations and submit the same to the principal employer before the settlement of any amount payable under sub-section (1).] (2) In the case referred to in sub-section (1), the immediate employer shall be entitled to recover the employee's contribution from the employee employed by or through him by deduction from wages and not otherwise, subject to the conditions specified in the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 40. 2[***] ______________ 1. Title: No Person to Be Nominated Who Has Direct Interest or Whose Services Are Not Immediately Available

(1) No person who has a direct interest in the matter under reference, or whose services are not immediately available for the purposes of the Committee, shall be nominated a member of a Committee of Arbitration. (2) If, in the opinion of the District Magistrate, any person who has been nominated has a direct interest in the matter under reference, or is otherwise disqualified for nomination, or if the services of any such person are not immediately available as aforesaid, and if the1[Board] or other person by whom any such person was nominated fails to nominate another member within seven days from the date on which it or he may be called upon to do so by the District Magistrate, such failure shall be deemed to constitute a failure to make a nomination within the meaning of section 262. ________________________ 1. Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 [Repealed] Section 14A

Title: Right to Recover Immediate Possession of Premises to Accrue to Certain Persons

Multi State Co-operative Societies Act, 1984 [Repealed] Section 95

Title: Co-operative Societies Functioning Immediately Before Reorganization of States

.....(3), the Central Registrar or the authorized officer may refer the scheme to such Judge of the appropriate High Court, as may be nominated in this behalf by the Chief Justice thereof, and the decision of that Judge in regard to the scheme shall be final and shall be binding on all the societies affected by the scheme as well as the shareholders and creditors of ail such societies. (5) Notwithstanding anything contained in this section, where a scheme under sub-section (2) the transfer of the assets and liabilities of any multi-State co-operative society referred to in clause (b) thereof, the scheme shall not be binding on such multi-State co-operative society or the shareholders and creditors thereof, unless the proposal regarding such transfer is accepted by that multi-State co-operative society by a resolution passed by a majority of the member present at a meeting of its general body.

Delhi Rent Act, 1995 Section 23

Title: Right to Recover Immediate Possession of Premises to Accrue to Certain Persons

.....as the case may be, to indicate the dwelling house possession of which he intended to recover. Explanation.-- For the purposes of this sub-section, sections 24, 25 and 26, immediate possession shall mean possession recoverable on the expiry of sixty days from the date of order of eviction.(2) Where a landlord exercises the right of recovery conferred on him by sub-section (1) or section 22, 24, 25 or 26 and he had received,-- (a) any rent in advance from the tenant, he shall, within a period of ninety days from the dale of recovery of possession of the premises by him, refund to the tenant such amount as represents the rent payable for the unexpired portion of the contract, agreement or lease; (b) any other payment, he shall, within the period aforesaid, refund to the tenant a sum which shall bear the same proportion to the total amount so received, as the unexpired portion of the contract, agreement or lease bears to the total period of contract, agreement or lease: Provided that, if any default is made in making any refund as aforesaid, the landlord shall be liable to pay simple interest at the rate of fifteen per cent. per annum on the amount which he has.....

Title: Right to Recover Immediate Possession of Premises to Accrue to Members of the Armed Forces, Etc

.....son or daughter, as the case may be, are required for his own residence after his retirement, he, his spouse or his dependent sort or daughter, as the case may be, may, at any time, within a period of one year before the date of his retirement, apply to the Rent Authority for recovery of immediate possession of such premises. (3) Where the person, his spouse or his dependent son or daughter referred to in sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) has let out more than one premises, it shall be open to him, his spouse or his dependent son or daughter, as the case may be, to make an application under the sub-section in respect of only one of the premises chosen.
