THE ORISSA CLINICAL ESTABLISHMENTS (CONTROL AND REGULATION) ACT, 1990 THE ORISSA CLINICAL ESTABLISHMENTS (CONTROL AND REGULATION) ACT, 1990 Orissa Act 8 of 1992 [Received the assent of the Governor on the 11th December 1991, first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 3rd February 1992] An act to provide for the control and the regulation of registration and proper functioning of private nursing homes and other clinical establishments in the state and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:" 1. Short title, extent, commencement and application. (1) This Act may be called the Orissa Clinical Establishments (Control and Regulation) Act, 1991. (2) It extends to the while of the State of Orissa.
