Title: Power to Release Persons Imprisoned for Failing to Give Security

.....case], may make an order reducing the amount of the security or the number of sureties or the time for which security has been required. ( 3 ) An order under sub-section ( 1 ) may direct the discharge of such person either without conditions or upon any conditions which such person accepts: Provided that any condition imposed shall cease to be operative when the period for which such person was ordered to give security has expired. ( 4 ) The State Government may prescribe the conditions upon which a conditional discharge may be made. ( 5 ) If any condition upon which any person has been discharged is, in the opinion of the1[District Magistrate, in the case of an order passed by an Executive Magistrate under section 117 , or the Chief Judicial Magistrate in any other case] by whom the order of discharge was made or of hi s successor, not fulfilled, he may cancel the same. Title: Duty to Give Information as to Insurance

.....in the events aforesaid, or otherwise to prohibit or prevent the giving thereof in the said events, shall be of no effect. (3) If, from the information given to any person in pursuance of sub-section (2) or otherwise, he has reasonable ground for supporting that there have or may have been transferred to him under this Chapter rights against any particular insurer, that insurer shall be subject to the same duty as is imposed by the said sub-section on the persons therein mentioned. (4) The duty to give the information imposed by this section shall include a duty to allow all contracts of insurance, receipts for premiums, and other relevant documents in the possession or power of the person on whom the duty is so imposed to be inspected and copies thereof to be taken.

Title: Giving False Evidence

Explanation 2.--A false statement as to the belief of the person attesting is within the meaning of this section, and a person may be guilty of giving false evidence by stating that he believes a thing which he does not believe, as well as by slating that he knows a thing which he does not know. Illustrations (a) A, in support of a just claim which B has against Z for one thousand rupees, falsely swears on a trial that he heard Z admit the justice of B's claim. A has given false evidence. (b) A, being bound by an oath to state the truth, states that he believes a certain signature to be the handwriting of Z, when he does not believe it to be the handwriting of Z. Here A states that which he knows it be false, and therefore gives false evidence. (c) A, knowing the general character of Z's handwriting, states that he believes a certain signature to be the handwriting of Z; A in good faith believing it to be so. Here A's statement is merely as to his belief, and is true as to his belief, and therefore, although the signature may not be the handwriting of Z, A has not given false evidence. (d) A, being bound by an oath to state.....

Title: Certain Associations and Persons Receiving Foreign Contribution to Give Intimation to the Central Government

Title: Obligation of Transferor and Transferee to Give Notice of Transfer

Title: Penalty on Persons Arrested for Giving False Names and Addresses

If any person found in any common gaming-house entered by any Magistrate or officer of police under the provisions of this Act, upon being arrested, by any such officer or upon being brought before any Magistrate, on being required by such officer or Magistrate to give his name and address, shall refuse or neglect to give the same, or shall give any false name or address, he may upon conviction before the same or any other Magistrate be adjudged to pay any penalty not exceeding five hundred rupees, together with such costs as to such Magistrate shall appear reasonable, and on the non-payment of such penalty and costs, or in the first instance, if to such Magistrate it shall seem fit, may be imprisoned for any period not exceeding one month.
