.....Staff Selection Commission (E) "Member" means the member of Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (F) "Rules" means the rules framed under this Act. Section 3 - Constitution of Commission The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission shall be constituted as follows :- [A] Chairman - An officer of the Indian Administrative Service, appointed by the State Government not below the rank: of Super-time Scale with at least three years of service remaining. [B] Member - Two officers of All India Services/State Services, appointed by the State Government not below the pay scale of Rs. 14300-18300 (or similar pay scale revised time to time) with at least three years of remaining. [C] Appointment of Chairman/Members - The State Government shall be the appointing authority for the Chairman/Members. Section 4 - Tenure of Chairman and Members (i) The Tenure of Chairman & Members shall be of four years or till superannuation, whichever be earlier. (ii) The Chairman or the Members can be removed from post on grounds of proven misconduct. by the State Government provided that before removal, the Chairman/Members shall be given an opportunity of being heard.
