.....as may be specified in that behalf, the offering or exposing for sale or barter of any fish, killed in contravention of any rule made under sub-section (3) of section 3. 7. Penal ties The breach of any rule made under Section 3 or any prohibition notified under section 4, shall be punished :- (i) on the,-first conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two months or with fine which may extend to five hundred Rupees with both. (ii) on every subsequent conviction, with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both. 8. Arrest without warrant tor offences under the Act (i) Any Fishery officer, Poke officer not below the rank of a Sub-Inspector or any other person, specially empowered by the State Government in the behalf may arrest without warrant any person committing or attempting to commit, in his view a fishing offence :- (a) if the name and address of the person are not known to him and (b) if the person declines to give his name and address if there is reason to doubt the accuracy of the name and address, if given.
