Title: Powers of Authority and Procedure Before It

..... (g) any other matter which may be prescribed. (2) The Authority shall have original jurisdiction to adjudicate upon every reference made to it under section 64. (3) The Authority shall not be bound by the procedure laid down in the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908) but shall be guided by the principles of natural justice and subject to the other provisions of this Act and of any rules made thereunder, the Authority shall have the power to regulate its own procedure. (4) The Authority shall, after receiving reference under section 64 and after giving notice of such reference to alt the parties concerned and after affording opportunity of hearing to all parties, dispose of such reference within a period of six months from the date of receipt of such reference and make an award accordingly. (5) The Authority shall arrange to deliver copies of the award to the parties concerned within a period of fifteen days from the date of such award.

THE RIGHT TO FAIR COMPENSATION AND TRANSPARENCY IN LAND ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT ACT, 2013 [Act No. 30 of 2013] [26th September, 2013] PREAMBLE An Act to ensure, in consultation with institutions of local self-government and Gram Sabhas established under the Constitution, a humane, participative, informed and transparent process for land acquisition for industrialisation, development of essential infrastructural facilities and urbanisation with the least disturbance to the owners of the land and other affected families and provide just and fair compensation to the affected families whose land has been acquired or proposed to be acquired or are affected by such acquisition and make adequate provisions for such affected persons for their rehabilitation and resettlement and for ensuring that the cumulative outcome of compulsory acquisition should be that affected persons become partners in development leading to an improvement in their post acquisition social and economic status and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:--

Title: Levy of Rent by the Ramlila Fair Committee

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Municipal Act or any other law for the time being in force in the Bhilsa Ramlila Area, the Bhilsa Ramlila Fair Committee may, during the period of the fair which shall be notified by the Government in the Gazette levy such rent for the land comprised in the said area as may be specified in the bye-laws to be framed by the said Committee with the approval of the Government.

Title: Appointment of Ramlila Fair Committee

(1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint a Committee to be called the Bhilsa Ramlila Fair Committee consisting of-- (i) the Collector of the Bhilsa District who shall be its Chairman; (ii) two persons nominated by the Government; and 1[(ii-a) two Councillors nominated by Municipal Council, Vidisha;] (iii) six persons nominated, from time to time, by Shri Ramlila Sabha (Registered) Bhilsa : provided the Secretary of the said Sabha shall always be one of the persons so nominated. 2[(2) The persons nominated under clauses (ii), (ii-a) and (iii) of sub-section (1), shall hold office for a period of three years : Provided that a member of the Ramlila Committee nominated under clause (ii-a) of sub-section (1) shall cease to hold office as such member if he ceases to be a Councillor of the Municipal Council, Vidisha.] ____________________ 1. Title: Management and Control of Bhilsa Ramlila Fair

As soon as the Bhilsa Ramlila Committee is appointed by the Government under Section 2, the management and control of the Bhilsa Ramlila Fair and the assets and liabilities of the Ramlila Committee, if any, functioning at the time of its appointment together with all funds, if any, shall pass on and be vested in the Committee so appointed.
