Extradition Act, 1962 Section 34

Title: Extra-territorial Jurisdiction

Extra-territorial jurisdiction.-- An extradition offence committed by any person in a foreign State shall be deemed to have been committed in India and such person shall be liable to be prosecuted in India for such offence. ________________________ 1. Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 Amending Act 1

Title: Government of Union Territories and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2001

Amendment of section 23 In section 23 of the Government of Union Territories Act, 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (1), for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(e) the receipt of money on account of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory or the public account of the Union territory or the custody or issue of such money or the audit of the accounts of the Union territory:". 3. Amendment of section 47 In section 47 of the principal Act, for the words "all bans advanced to the Union territory from the Consolidated Fund of India", the words "all loans advanced to the Union territory from the Consolidated Fund of India and all loans raised by the Government of India or the Administrator of the Union territory upon the security of the Consolidated Fund of the Union territory" shall be substituted. 4. Insertion of new section 47A After section 47 of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-- '47A. Bihar and West Bengal (Transfer of Territories) Act, 1956 Part 2

.....of section 3 of the Bihar and West Bengal (Transfer of Territories) Act, 1956. The territory of the State of West Bengal shall comprise the territories which immediately before the commencement of this Constitution were either comprised in the Province of West Bengal or were being administered as if they formed part of that Province and the territory of Chandernagore as defined in clause (c) of section 2 of the Chandernagore (Merger) Act, 1954, and also the territories specified in sub-section (1), of section 3 of the Bihar and West Bengal (Transfer of Territories) Act, 1956. (b) in the 1st paragraph, the words, brackets, letter and figures "and in the case of the State of West Bengal, shall also comprise the territory of Chandernagore as defined in clause (c) of section 2 of the Chandernagore (Merger) Act, 1954," shall be omitted.

Territorial Army Act, 1948 Amending Act 2

Title: Official Language or Languages of Union Territory and Language or Languages to Be Used in Legislative Assembly Thereof
