Title : Licence for Acquisition and Possession of Arms of Specified Description in Certain Cases

If the Central Government is of opinion that having regard to the circumstances prevailing in any area it is necessary or expedient in the public interest that the acquisition, possession or carrying of arms other than firearms should also be regulated, it may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that this section shall apply to the area specified in the notification, and thereupon no person shall acquire, have in his possession or carry in that area arms of such class or description as may be specified in that notification unless he holds in this behalf a licence issued in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder. Title : Undertakings of the Companies to Vest in the Government

(1) With effect on and from the appointed date the undertakings of the companies shall, by virtue of this Act, stand transferred to and vest in the Government. (2) Every company which after the vesting date, was in possession of, or deriving any benefit from the undertaking vested in the Government under sub-section (1) shall be liable to pay to the Government, for the period, after such vesting for which it was in such possession or deriving such benefit, an amount as compensation for the use, occupation or enjoyment of that undertaking as the prescribed authority may fix in the prescribed manner.
