.....convention, relating to narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances which may be ratified or acceded to by India after the commencement of this Act. (x) "manufacture", in relation to narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, includes- (1) all processes other than production by which such drugs or substances may be obtained; (2) refining of such drugs or substances; (3) transformation of such drugs or substances; and (4) making of preparation (otherwise than in a pharmacy on prescription) with or containing such drugs or substances; (xi) "manufactured drug" means- (a) all coca derivatives, medicinal cannabis, opium derivatives and poppy straw concentrate; (b) any other narcotic substance or preparation which the Central Government may, having regard to the available information as to its nature or to a decision, if any, under any International Convention, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare to be a manufactured drug; but does not include any narcotic substance or preparation which the Central Government may, having regard to the available information as to its nature, or to a decision, if any, under any International Convention, by notification in the Official.....

(THE NAGALAND ACT NO 1 OF 1989) Received the assent of the President of India on 16/03/89 and published in the Nagaland Gazette extraordinary dated 18th March '89. An Act to provide for the better regulation of marketing of agricultural produce and establishment and proper administration of markets for agricultural produce and matters connected therewith in the State of Nagaland. Whereas sanction of the President of India under the proviso to clause (b) of Article 304 of the Constitution of India has been obtained. It is hereby enacted by the Legislature of the State of Nagaland in the thirty seventh year of the Republic of India as follows: CHAPTER-I PRELIMINARY 1. Title: Composition of the Planning Committee

(1) The Board shall, as soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, constitute a Committee, to be called the Planning Committee, for assisting the Board in the discharge of its functions. (2) The Committee shall consist of such members as may be prescribed and unless the rules made in this behalf otherwise provide, the Committee shall consist of the following members namely:-- (a) the Member-Secretary to the Board, who shall be the ex officio Chairman of the Committee. (b) the Joint Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Works and Housing-in-charge of Housing and Urban Development ex officio; (c) Secretary-in-charge of Urban Development in each participating State and the Union territory, ex officio; (d) the Vice-Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, ex officio; (e) the Chief Planner, Town and Country Planning Organisation, New Delhi, ex officio and (f) the Chief Town Planner of each participating State, ex officio.

SECTION 30: CONDITIONS OF SERVICE OF EMPLOYEES (1) Every employee of the University shall be appointed-under a written contract and such contract shall not be inconsistent with .the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Ordinances. (2) The contract referred to in sub-section (1) shall be lodged with the University and a copy of which shall be furnished to the employee concerned. SECTION 31: TRIBUNAL OF ARBITRATION (1) Any dispute arising out of a contract of employment referred to in S. 30 between the University and an employee shall, at the request of either party, be referred to a Tribunal of Arbitration which shall consist of one member nominated by the Board of Management, one member nominated by the employee concerned and an umpire to be nominated by the Visitor. (2) Every such reference shall be deemed to be a submission to arbitration upon the terms of this section within the meaning of the Arbitration Act, 1940-, and all the provisions of that Act, with the exception of S. 2 thereof, shall apply accordingly.
