....."lives stock" includes buffaloes, bulls, bullocks, camels, cows, donkeys goats, horses, mules, pigs, sheeps, yaks and also their young;] (19) "Manufacturer" means a manufacturer of animal articles; (20) "Meat" includes blood, bones, sinew, eggs, fat and flesh, whether raw or cooked, of any wild animal, other than vermin; (21) "National Park" means an area declared, whether under setion 35 of section 38, or deemed, under sub-section (3) of section 66, to be declared, as a National Park; (22) "Notification" means a noification published in the Official Gazette; (23) "Permit" means a permit granted under this Act or any rule made thereunder; (24) "Person" includes a firm; (25) "Prescribed" means by rules made under this Act; 1[(25A) "recognised zoo" means a zoo recognised under section 38H; (25B) "reserve forest" means the forest declared to reserved by the State Government under section 20 of the Indian Forest Act,1927 (16 of 1927);] (26) "sanctuary" means an area declared, whether under section 2[26A] or section 66, to be declared as wild life sanctuary; 2[(27) "specified plant" means any plant specified in Schedule VI;] (28) "special game" means any animal specified in Schedule.....

.....milk-shop or other place (a) from which milk is supplied on or for sale, or (b) in which milk is kept for purposes of sale or used for manufacture or preparation for sale of (i) butter, or (ii) ghee, or (iii) cheese, or (iv) curd, or (v) dried, sterilized, condensed or tonned milk, but does not include (a) a shop or other place in which milk is sold for consumption on the premises only, or (b) a shop or other place from which milk is sold or supplied in hermetically closed and unopened receptacles in the same original condition in which it was first received in such shop or other place; 55. (7B) "dairyman" includes any occupier of a dairy, any cow-keeper who trades in milk, or any wholesale or retail seller of milk; (8) "dangerous disease" means (a) cholera, plague, small-pox, cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, tuberculosis, leprosy and syphilis, and (b) any other epidemic, endemic, or infectious disease which the State Government may, by notification, declare to be a dangerous disease for the purposes of this Act; 66. Title: Apportionment of Benefit of Obligation on Severance

.....that purpose: Provided that no person on whom the burden of the obligation lies shall be answerable for failure to discharge it in manner provided by this section, unless and until he has had reasonable notice of the severance. Nothing in this section applies to leases for agricultural purposes unless and until the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette so directs. Illustrations (a) A sells to B, C and D a house situated in a village and leased to E at an annual rent of Rs. 30 and delivery of one fat sheep, B having provided half the purchase-money and C and D one quarter each. E, having notice of this, must pay Rs. 15 to B, Rs. 7.50 to C, and Rs. 7.50 to D, and must deliver the sheep according to the Joint direction of B, C and D. (b) In the same case, each house in the village being bound to provide ten days' labour each year on a duke to prevent inundation E had agreed as a term of his lease to perform this work for A. B, C and D severally require E to perform the ten days' work due on account of the house of each. E is not bound to do more than ten days' work in all, according to such directions as B, C and D may join in giving.
