.....- All members, officers and servants of the Corporation, whether appointed by the Central Government or the Corporation, shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act to be public servants within the meaning ofsection 21 of the Indian Penal Code- SECTION 57: PROTECTION OF ACTION TAKEN UNDER THE ACT (1) No suit, prosecution, or legal proceeding shall lie against any person in lhc employment of the Corporation for anything which is in good faith done or purported to be done under this Act. (2) Save as otherwise provided in the Act, no suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Corporation for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything in good faith done or purported to be done under this Act. Title: Power to Require Water Supply to Be Taken
