.....BE it enacted by Parliament in the Thirty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows: SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT (1) This Act may be called The Finance Act, 1984. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act,sections 2-to34-andsection 54-shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 1984. SECTION 02: INCOME INCOME--TAX ---(1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1984, income-tax shall be charged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and shall be increased. (a) in the cases to which Paragraphs A, B, C and D of that Part apply, by a surcharge for purposes of the Union; and (b) in the cases to which Paragraph E of that Part applies, by a surcharge, calculated in each casce in the manner 'provided therein: Provided that where an assessee. being a company, has made during the financial year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1983, any deposit with the Industrial Development Bank of India established under the Industrial Development Bank of India Act. 1964 under the Companies Deposits (Surcharge on Income-tax) Scheme, 1983, then. the surcharge on.....

The Tripura Agricultural Workers Act, 1984 Complete Act

.....(ii) in relation to a land held by a Bargadar or under Raiyat, such Bargadar or under Raiyat as defined in the Tripura Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960 (Act 43 of 1960) ; (iii) in any other case, the person in actual possession of the land, and includes his heirs, assignees and legal representatives. .....shall apply to-- (a) all co-operative societies, with objects not confined to one State which were incorporated before the commencement of this Act,-- (i) under the Co-operative Societies Act, 1912, 2 OF 1912 or (ii) under any other law relating to co-operative societies in force in any State or in pursuance of the Multi-unit Co-operative Societies Act, 1942, 6 of 1942 or the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 1984, 51 of 1984, and the registration of which has not been cancelled before such commencement; and (b) all multi-State co-operative societies. 3. Multi State Co-operative Societies Act, 1984 [Repealed] Chapter II

.....his shares, deposits or loans, as the case may be. (5) Any member or creditor who does not exercise his option within the period specified section-section (4) shall be deemed to have assented to the proposals contained in the resolution. (6)(a) Are solution passed by a multi-State co-operative society under this section shall not take effect until the assent thereto of all the members and creditors has been obtained. (b) The multi-State co-operative society shall make arrangements for meeting in full or otherwise satisfying all claims of the members and creditors who exercise the option within the period specified in sub-section (4).
