(8) The Policy Planning Body may hear complaints with regard to admission in contravention of the provisions of this Act or rules or orders or guidelines made thereunder and if the Policy Planning Body after making enquiry, in the manner prescribed, finds that there has been any such contravention in admission on the part of any private professional educational institution,- it shall make appropriate recommendations to the Government for imposing fine on such institution and the Government may on receipt of such recommendation, impose fine not exceeding rupees ten lakhs on such institution in case of each such contravention. (9) The Government shall collect the fine along with the interest thereon in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed. [Received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram on 5th April/2007] An Act to amend the Court Fees (Mizoram Amendment) Act, 1996 (Act No. of 1997) to provide for refund of court fees in certain cases. It is enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram in the fifty-eight year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Court Fees (Mizoram Amendment) (Amendment) Act, 2007. (2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Mizoram Gazette. 2. Insertion of new Section 5 (1) In the Court Fees (Mizoram Amendment) Act. 1996 after section 4, a new section shall be inserted as follows:- "5. REFUND OF FEES: Where the court refers the parties to the suit to anyone of the mode of settlement of dispute referred to in section 89 of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908, and the matter is settled accordingly, the plaintiff shall be entitled to a certificate from the court authorising him to receive back from the collector. The full amount of the fee paid in respect of such plaint".
