The Kerala Decentralisation of Powers Act, 2000[1] Complete Act

"; (iii) for item (10), the following item shall be substituted, namely:" "(10) to arrange for publicity and popularising of goods manufactured in Khadi and Village Industries by opening stores, shops, exhibitions and the like and to carry on such activities incidental and conducive to the objects of this Act and to perform such other functions as the Government may direct for the purpose of carrying out the objects of this Act;"; (5) in section 16," (a) in the first proviso to item (i) for the words "aforesaid-powers" the words "aforesaid powers except the power to acquire" shall be substituted; (b) in item (ii), after the word "Government" the words "or local authorities" shall be inserted; (6) for section 16A, the following section shall be substi tuted, namely :" "16A. Delegation of functions of the Board to local authorities."The Government may by order delegate the functions of the Board.....

MADRAS DECENTRALISATION ACT, 1914 (8 OF 1914) MADRAS DECENTRALISATION ACT, 1914 (8 OF 1914) An Act to facilitate the administration of certain enactments Preamble.- WHEREAS it is expedient to facilitate the administration of certain enactments; It is hereby enacted as follows:- SECTION 1: Short title This Act may be called the Madras Decentralisation Act, 1914. SECTION 2: Amendment of certain enactments The enactments specified in the third column of the Schedule are hereby amended to the extent and in the manner specified in the fourth column thereof. SECTION 3: Saving of orders, etc., issued by previous authorities Any appointment, notification, order, scheme, rule, form or by-law made or issued by an authority for the making or issuing of which a new authority is substituted by or under this Act shall, unless inconsistent with this Act, be deemed to have been made or issued by such new authority unless and until superseded by an appointment, notification, order, scheme, rule, form or by-law made or issued by such new authority. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 Chapter VI
