THE UNITED NATIONS (PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES) ACT, 1947 [Act, No.46 of 1947] [AS ON 1995] [20th December, 1947] PREAMBLE An Act to give effect to the Convection on the Privileges and immunities of the United Nations. WHEREAS it is expedient to give effect to the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, and to enable similar privileges and immunities to be enjoyed by other international organisations and their representatives and officials ; It is hereby enacted as follows :-

Existing contracts, etc. All deeds, contracts, schemes, bonds, agreements, applications, instruments and arrangements subsisting immediately before the date of registration relating to the firm or to which the firm is a party, shall continue in force on and after that date as if they relate to the limited liability partnership and shall be enforceable by or against the limited liability partnership as if the limited liability partnership were named therein or were a party thereto instead of the firm. 13. Continuance of employment Every contract of employment to which paragraph 11 or paragraph 12 applies shall continue to be in force on or after the date of registration as if the limited liability partnership were the employer thereunder instead of the firm. 14. SCHEDULE Regulation No. 67.-Conservation of listed buildings, areas, artifacts, structures and precincts of historical and/or aesthetical and/or architectural and or cultural value (heritage buildings and heritage precincts). 1.Applicability-This regulation will apply to those buildings, artifacts, structures and/or precincts of historical and/or aesthetical and/or architectural and/or cultural value (hereinafter referred to as Listed Buildings/Heritage Buildings and Listed precincts/Heritage precincts) which will be listed in notification (s) to he issued by the Government. 2. Restriction on Development/Redevelopment/Repairs, etc. (i) No development or redevelopment or engineering operation o r additions, alterations, repairs, renovation including the painting of buildings, replacement of special features or demolition of the whole or any part thereof or plastering of said listed/heritage buildings or listed/Heritage precincts shall be allowed except with the prior written permission of the Commissioner.
