C.O. 35 Dated the 7th December, 1951 THE MYSORE STATE (CESSER OF CENTRAL CONTROL) ORDER, 1951 In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 371of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to. make thefollowing Order, namely :-- 1. (1) This Order may be called the Mysore State (Cesser ofCentral Control) Order, 1951. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. The provisions of article 371 of the Constitution shall not apply to the Sate of Mysore.

.....person so elected shall, before entering upon his office, make and subscribe the oath or affirmation prescribed in article 60 in the presence of the Chief Justice of India or, in his absence, the senior most Judge of the Supreme Court available, notwithstanding that such Chief Justice or Judge has not made and subscribed the oath or affirmation prescribed under clause (6) of article 124."
