WHEREAS it is expedient to make provisions for the constitution of a Commission to deal effectively with the investigation of, and inquiry into, complaints against public men and for matters connected therewith; BE it enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Public Men's Corruption (Investigations and Inquiries) Act, 1987. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala. (3) It shall come into force at once.
