Title: Security for Abstaining from Cocaine Offences

.....may at the time of passing sentence on such person order him to execute a bond for a sum proportionate to his means with or without sureties for abstaining from such offences during such period not exceeding three years as it thinks fit to fix. (2) If the conviction is set aside on appeal or otherwise the bond so executed shall become void. (3) An order under this section may also be made by an Appellate Court or by the High Court when exercising its powers of revision. 1[Whoever lets or uses any house, room or place of which he is the owner or occupier or of which he has the use, in such circumstances as to indicate that he knows or has reason to believe that such house, room or place is used as a resort of importers, exporters, transporters, possessors or vendors of cocaine or any of the synthetic thereof in contravention of any of the provisions of this Act shall be punished on first conviction with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees or with both and on any subsequent conviction with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to four thousand rupees or with both.] ____________ 1.
