Title: Voluntary Closure of College or Course

(5) The students of such closed colleges shall on transfer be accommodated in the nearby colleges by the University by increasing the intake in respect of particular course of study to the extent of such students to be accommodated from such closed closed college and all documents in respect of each student shall be transmitted to the college in which such students are admitted. (6) If within ninety days after the expiry of the term of notice under sub-section (1), the State Government does not issue any direction either permitting or rejecting the closure it shall be deemed subject to the provisions of sub-section (4), that the management is permitted to close the college or the course as the case may be.

Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002 Section 34

Title: Permanent Closure of Highway

.....Gazette, give notice of its intention to the public to do so specifying therein the time within which the objections and suggestions received shall be considered under sub-section (3) and in addition to such notice, it shall also notify the contents of such notice in at least two newspapers, one of which shall be in the local language of the area through which such Highway passes and another shall be the newspaper being circulated in such area. (2) The notice under sub-section (1) shall indicate the alternative route proposed to be provided in lieu of the Highway or part thereof intended to be closed specifying therein as to whether such alternative route shall be an already existing Highway or shall be newly constructed and shall also invite objections and suggestions from the persons affected on such proposal within the time and to be addressed to the officer as specified in such notice. (3) The Highway Administration shall, after considering the objections and suggestions, if any, received within the time specified in such notice, take decision on the proposal for closure under the notice and shall act in accordance with such decision.

Title: Procedure for Closing Down an Undertaking

.....may, having regard to the genuineness and adequacy of the reasons stated by the employer, the interests of the general public and all other relevant factors, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, grant or refuse to grant such permission and a copy of such order shall be communicated to the employer and the workmen. (3) Where an application has been made under sub-section (1) and the appropriate Government does not communicate the order granting or refusing to grant permission to the employer within a period of sixty days from the date on which such application is made, the permission applied for shall be deemed to have been granted on the expiration of the said period of sixty days. (4) An order of the appropriate Government granting or refusing to grant permission shall, subject to the provisions of sub-section (5), be final and binding on all the parties and shall remain in force for one year from the date of such order. (5) The appropriate Government may, either on its own motion or on the application made by the employer or any workman, review its order granting or refusing to grant permission under sub-section (2) or refer the matter to a tribunal for.....
