Medical Council Act, 1956 Complete Act

.....be open to such person or medical college to rectify the defects, if any, specified by the Council; (b) consider the scheme, having regard to the factors referred to in sub-section (7), and submit the scheme together with its recommendations thereon to the Central Government. (4) The Central Government- may, after considering the scheme and the recommendations of the Council under sub-section (3) and after obtaining, where necessary, such other particulars as may be considered necessary by it from the person or college concerned, and having regard to the factors referred to in subsection (7), either approve (with such conditions, if any, as it may consider necessary) or disapprove the scheme and any such approval shall be a permission under sub-section (1) : Provided that no scheme shall be disapproved by the Central Government except after giving the person or college concerned a reasonable opportunity of being heard : Provided further that nothing in this sub-section shall prevent any person or medical college whose scheme has not been approved by the Central Government to submit a fresh scheme and the provisions of this section shall apply to such scheme, as if such scheme.....

SECTION 24: TERM OF COPYRIGHT IN POSTHUMOUS WORK (1) In the case of a literary, dramatic or musical work or an engraving, in which copyright subsists at the date of the death of the author or, in the case of any such work of joint authorship, at or immediately before the date of the death of the author who dies last, but which, or any adaptation of which, has not been published before that date, copyright shall subsist until 17[sixty] years from the beginning of the calendar year next following the year in which the work is first published or, where an adaptation of the work is published in any earlier year, from the beginning of the calendar year next following that year. .....relating to the weight, dimensions and packing of the cargo, as well as those relating to the number of packages, are prima facie evidence of the facts stated therein; those relating to the quantity, volume and condition of the cargo do not constitute evidence against the carrier except so far as they both have been, and are stated in the air waybill or the cargo receipt to have been, checked by it in the presence of the consignor, or relate to the apparent condition of the cargo. 12. (1) Subject to its liability to carry out all its obligations under the contract of carriage, the consignor has the right to dispose of the cargo by withdrawing it at the airport of departure or destination, or by stopping it in the course of the journey on any landing, or by calling for it to be delivered at the place of destination or in the course of the journey to a person other than the consignee originally designated, or by requiring it to be returned to the airport of departure. Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 Complete Act

.....in 1867, 1882andagain in 1893and 1896 but all these attempts failed owing to legal and constitutional difficulties.Two of the principal contributory factors were the then limited powers of the Indian Legislature to legislate regarding shipping and the fact that part of the British Statute law on the subject, including parts of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, which is the principal United-Kingdom enactment on the subject, applied to Indian and any Indian enactment had to be in legal harmony with that law. A fresh attempt was made in 1921-22 to codify the Indian law on merchant shipping by the Statute Law Revision Committee, which decided that only consolidation, and not revision should be attempted immediately. The result was the Indian Merchant Shipping Act, 1923, which is now on the Statute Book and which consolidated some 21 existing Indian Acts on the subject. Air Corporations Act, 1953 Complete Act

Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Pollution of the Sea by Oil) Rules, 1974 Complete Act
