The Street Vendors (Protection Of Livelihood And Regulation Of Street Vending) Act, 2014 Complete Act

(2) Any reference in this Act to any enactment or any provision thereof, shall, in relation to an area in which such enactment or such provision is not in force be construed as a reference to the corresponding law, if any, in force in that area. CHAPTER II REGULATION OF STREET VENDING Survey of street vendors and protection from eviction or relocation. 3. (1) The Town Vending Committee shall, within such period and in such manner as may be specified in the scheme, conduct a survey of all existing street vendors, within the area under its jursidiction, and subsequent survey shall be carried out at least once in every five years. (2) The Town Vending Committee shall ensure that all existing street vendors, identified in the survey, are accommondated in the vending zones subject to a norm conforming to two and half per cent. of the population of the ward or zone or town or city, as the case may be, in accordance with the plan for street vending and the holding capacity of the vending zones. (3) No street vendor shall be evicted or, as the case may be, relocated.....

THE PUNJAB NEW TOWNSHIPS (STREET LIGHTING AND WATER SUPPLY) FEES (REPEALING) ACT, 1982 THE PUNJAB NEW TOWNSHIPS (STREET LIGHTING AND WATER SUPPLY) FEES (REPEALING) ACT, 1982 [ Act No. 11 of 1982] [dated 23.4.1982] PREAMBLE An Act to repeal the Punjab New Townships (Street Lighting and Water Supply) Fees Act, 1950. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Thirty- third Year of the Republic of India as follow :- Section 1 - Short title This Act may be called the Punjab New Townships (Street Lighting and Water Supply) Fees (Repealing) Act, 1982. Section 2 - Repeal of Punjab Act 9 of 1950 The Punjab New Townships (Street Lighting and Water Supply) Fees Act, 1950, is hereby repealed : Provided that such repeal shall not affect " (a) the previous operation of the Act so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or (b) any obligation or liability accrued or incurred under the Act so repealed; or (c) any legal proceeding or remedy In respect of any such obligation, or liability as aforesaid; and any such legal proceeding or remedy may be continued or enforced as if this Act had not been passed.
