.....Product Order, 1992 of the Central Government. (h) (Substituted by Haryana Act 14 of 2006) ["Milk plant" means a plant owned by any person or manufacturer registered under the Milk and Milk Product Order, 1992, of the Central Government and operating within the limits of the State of Haryana but not including milk chilling centers supplying milk to the milk plants within the State of Haryana paying cess on the quantity of milk supplied by them to the said plants subject to the production of authentic proof of such payment; and] (i) "Prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act. .....Breed (Preservation and Development of Animal Husbandry section 2 of and Dairy Development Sector) Act, 2001 (hereinafter called the principal Act), Haryana Act 6 the following clause shall be inserted, namely :- of 2001. ˜(ff) "lean period" means the period commencing from Ist April and ending on 30th June of every year when milk production gets reduced due to climatic and biological reasons;'. 3. For sub-section (1) of section 6 of the principal Act, the following sub- Amendment of section shall be substituted, namely :- section 6 of Haryana Act 6 of 2001. Title: Registration for Fish Breeding

(1) No person shall breed fish for sale of fish seeds unless he is registered under this Act: Provided that a person carrying on breeding of fish for sale of fish seeds immediately before the commencement of this Act, may continue to do so for a period of three months from such commencement; and if he has made an application for such registration within the said period of three months till the disposal of such application. (2) Every application for registration under sub-section (1), shall be made to the authorised officer in such form and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed. (3) On receipt of an application under sub-section (2), the authorised officer may, after making such enquiry as he thinks fit, grant a certificate of registration subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed. (4) The certificate of registration shall continue to be in force unless it is otherwise cancelled: Provided that no such cancellation shall be made except after giving to the holder of registration certificate a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
