The Sir Cowasjee Jehangir.baronetcy (Repealing) Act, 1964 Complete Act

.....or omission of the corporation or the Trustees to do anything that was required to be done under the provisions of the Baronetcy Act, and from a for anything in good faith one or purported to have been done under or in pursuance of the provisions of that Act; and accordingly, not suit or other legal proceeding whatsoever shall lie in any court against the Corporation or any of the said Trustees, heirs, executors, administrators, estates, effects or successors for or in respect of any such failure, omission or action. SECTION 04: INDEMNITY TO GOVERNMENT AND OFFICERS No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or any officer of the Government for anything in good faith done or purported to be done under this Act, or in pursuance of the provisions of the Baronetcy Act. .....hereafter applied; It is hereby enacted as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE This Act may be called The Imperial Library (Indentures Validation) Act, 1902. SECTION 02: VALIDATION OF INDENTURES SET FORTH IN SCHEDULES (1) Notwithstanding anything contained inthe Societies Registration Act, 1860-, or in any other enactment or rule of law for the time being in force, the property expressed or intended to be transferred to the Secretary of State for India in Council by the indentures, whereof copies are set forth in the first and second schedules, respectively, to this Act, shall be deemed and taken to have been so transferred absolutely as and from the dates of the said indentures respectively; and the said several indentures are hereby declared valid and operative as from the said dates respectively.
