.....Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Aircraft Rules, 1937, namely: SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND EXTENT (1) This Act may be called The Aircraft Act, 1934. (2) It extends to the whole of India and applies also-: (a) to citizens of India, wherever they may be; and (b) to, and to the persons on, aircraft registered in India wherever they may be.] SECTION 02: DEFINITIONS In this Act, unless is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (1) "Aircraft" means any machine which can derive support in the atmosphere from reactions of the air, Other than reactions of the air against the earth's surface] and includes balloons, whether fixed or free, airships, kites, gliders and flying machines. (2) "Aerodrome" means any definite or limited ground or water area intended to be used, either wholly or in part, for the lending or departure of aircraft, and includes all buildings, sheds, vessels, piers and other structures thereon or appertaining thereto, (2A) "aerodrome reference point", in relation to any aerodrome, means a designated point established in the horizontal plane at or near the geometric centre of that part of the aerodrome.....

CHAPTER 12 OIL SEEDS AND OLEAGINOUS FRUITS, MISCELLANEOUS GRAINS, SEEDS AND FRUIT; INDUSTRIAL OR MEDICINAL PLANTS; STRAW AND FODDER NOTES 1. Heading 1207 applies, inter alia, to palm nuts and kernels, cotton seeds, castor oil seeds, sesamum seeds, mustard seeds, safflower seeds, poppy seeds and shea nuts (karite nuts). It does not apply to products of heading 0801 or 0802 or to olives (Chapter 7 or Chapter 20). 2. Heading 1208 applies not only to non-defatted flours and meats but also to flours and meals which have been partially defatted or defatted and wholly or partially refatted with their original oils. It does not, however, apply to residues of headings 2304 to 2306. 3. .....1927 21st September, 1927 STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS The general law relating to forests in British India is contained in the Indian Forest Act, 1878and its amending Acts. The present Bill brings the law together within the scope of one enactment. The Bill is a straightforward consolidating Bill but the original Act having been passed before the General Clauses Act of 1897 (10 of 1897), it has been possible to shorten the language of the Bill by taking advantage of that Act. The ambiguous language of the second paragraph of section 42 of Act 7 of 1878has been altered in clause 42(2) so as to bring it into conformity with what appears to have been the original intention of the law. The only other point which calls for further notice is the extent clause. The original Act extended to the Province of Assam, but by Regulation 7 of 1891the Indian Forest Act, 1878was repealed as far as it relates to Assam. The Bill accordingly omits Assam from the extent clause. The Bill to consolidate the law relating to forests and the transit of forest produce was passed and further assented by Governor-General of India on 21st September, 1927 and became a Central Act under the short title.....
