Sale of Goods Act, 1930 Section 24

Title: Goods Sent on Approval or "on Sale or Return"

When goods are delivered to the buyer on approval or "on sale or return" or other similar terms, the property therein passes to the buyer-- (a) when he signifies his approval or acceptance to the seller or does any other act adopting the transaction; (b) if he does not signify his approval or acceptance to the seller but retains the goods without giving notice of rejection, then, if a time has been fixed for the return of the goods, on the expiration of such time, and, if no time has been fixed, on the expiration of a reasonable time.

.....contract When the seller of goods has obtained possession thereof under a contract voidable under section 19 or section 19A of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (9 of 1872), but the contract has not been rescinded at the time of the sale, the buyer acquires a good title to the goods, provided he buys them in good faith and without notice of the seller's defect of title. Presidency-towns Insolvency Act, 1909 Section 29

Title: Approval of Proposal by Court

.....which may be made by or on behalf of any creditor. (4) Where the Court is of opinion that the terms of the proposal are not reasonable or are not calculated to benefit the general body of creditors or in any case in which the Court is required to refuse the insolvent's discharge, the Court shall refuse to approve the proposal. (5) Where any facts are proved on proof of which the Court would be required either to refuse, suspend or attach conditions to the debtor's discharge, the Court shall refuse to approve the proposal unless it provides reasonable security for payment of not less than four annas in the rupee on all the unsecured debts provable against the debtor's estate. (6) No composition or scheme shall be approved by the Court which does not provide for the payment in priority to other debts of all debts directed to be so paid in the distribution of the property of an insolvent. Title: Power and Duty to Acquireshares of Shareholders Dissenting from Scheme or Contract Approved by Majority

1[Section 6 A - Approval of Central Government to conduct inquiry or investigation (1) The Delhi Special Police Establishment shall not conduct any enquiry or investigation into any offence alleged to have been committed under the Prevention of Corruption Act,1988 (49 of 1988) except with the previous approval of the Central Government where such allegation relates to - (a) the employees of the Central Government of the Level of Joint Secretary and above ;and (b) such officers as are appointed by the Central Government in corporations established by or under any Central Act, Government Companies, Societies and local Authorities owned or controlled by that Government. Industrial Reconstruction Bank of India Act, 1984 Section 21

Title: Borrowing and Acceptance of Deposits by the Reconstruction Bank

.....shall not be less than twelve months from the date of making of the deposit on such terms as may be generally or specially approved by the Reserve Bank.
