.....an officer not below the rank of an Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies as may be prescribed; 1010. Clause (19a) was first inst. by W.B. Act 27 of 1989, then subs. by W.B. Act 22 of 1992. (19a) "Director of Co-operative Audit" means the person appointed to be the Director of Co-operative Audit under sub-section (2) of section 9; (20) "dispute" means any matter capable of being the subject of civil litigation, and includes a claim in respect of any sum payable to or by a co-operative society; 1111. Clause (21) subst. by W.B. Act 21 of 1990. (21) "district co-operative union" means a co-operative society which has an area of membership extending to the whole of a co-operative range and the primary object of which is to assist the State Co-operative Union in implementing its objects; (22) "engineers' co-operative" means a co-operative society formed of unemployed (i) degree holders in any branch of engineering, technology, science, commerce, arts or agriculture, or (ii) diploma holders in any branch of engineering, technology or agriculture, or (iii) certificate holders in any industrial trade, for their exclusive benefit, the percentage of degree or diploma holders.....

THE TASHI-NAMGYAL ACADEMY BOARD ACT, 1983 THE TASHI-NAMGYAL ACADEMY BOARD ACT, 1983 (ACT NO.8 OF 1983) [4.4.1983] AN ACT to provide for' the establishment of a Board for managing the affairs of the school known as the Tashi 'Namgyal" Academy, Gangtok, and its properties and for matters connected therewith. BE it enacted by the Legislative, Assembly of the State of Sikkim in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, as follows: CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title and commencement. 1. (I) This Act may be called the Tashi Namgyal Academy Board Act, 1983. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. Definition 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) "appointed day" means the date of commencement of this Act; (b) "appointing authority" means the Chairman; (c) "auditor" means the auditor appointed under section 7 (3); (d) "Board" means the Tashi Namgyal Academy Board established under section 3; (e) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Tashi Namgyal Academy Board; (f) "Executive Committee" means the Executive Committee constituted under section 13; (g) "Government" means.....

Title: Duties of Certain Persons Entrusted with the Examination Work

No person,- (a) who is appointed as a paper setter at any examination shall supply or cause to be supplied the question paper drawn by him or a copy thereof or communicate the contents of such paper to any person or give publicity thereto in any manner, except in accordance with the instructions given to him in writing by his appointing authority in this behalf; or (b) who is entrusted with the work of printing, cyclostyling, typing or otherwise producing copies of any question paper set for the purposes of any examination shall supply or cause to be supplied a copy thereof or communicate the contents thereof to any person or give publicity thereto in any manner, except in accordance with the instructions given to him in writing by the authority which entrusted the work to him; or (c) who is entrusted with the custody, or is otherwise in possession of any question paper set for the purposes of any examination shall supply or distribute or cause to be supplied or distributed any copy thereof or communicate the contents thereof to any person or give publicity thereto in any manner, except in accordance with the instructions given to him in writing by the authority which entru

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Tripura in the Thirty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commencement. 1 (I) This Act may be called THE TRIPURA PUBLIC PREMISES (EVICTION OF UNAUTHORISED OCCUPANTS) ACT, 1983. (2) It extends to the whole of Tripura. (3) It shall come into force at once. Definitions. 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "estate officer" means an officer appointed as such by the State Government under Section 3 ; (b) "premises" means any land or any building or part of a building and includes,- (i) The garden, grounds and outhouse, if any, appertaining to such building or part of a building, and (ii) any fittings affixed to such building or part of a building for the more beneficial enjoyment thereof ; (c) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act ; (d) "public premises" means any premises belonging.....

Dangerous Machines (Regulation) Act, 1983 Complete Act

Title: Enforcement of Compulsory Primary Education

Title: Attendance Authorities and their Powers and Duties

.....local authority and in any other case, the attendance authority, to cause to be prepared as early as possible in such manner as may be prescribed list of children within the age group specified in the order under section 11 or in the scheme under section 12 in any specified area. Such lists shall also be prepared in every year in every specified area at such time and in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) The attendance authority or any person appointed to assist the attendance authority may put such question to any parent or require any person to furnish such information about his child, as it or he considers necessary, and every such parent shall be bound to answer such questions or to furnish such information, as the case may be, to the best of knowledge or belief. (4) It shall be the duty of the attendance authority to notify the parent of every child to whom the order under section 11 applies, but against whom no attendance order has been passed under section 17 that he is under an obligation to cause the child to attend an approved school with effect from the commencement of the specified academic year.
