THE HARYANA APARTMENT OWNERSHIP ACT, 1983 THE HARYANA APARTMENT OWNERSHIP ACT, 1983 Act No. 10 of 1983 [Received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on 26th September, 1983, and was published in the Haryana Gazette. (Extra), Legislative Supplement, Part I, dated September 28, 1983 ] An Act to provide for the ownership of an individual apartment in a building and to make such apartment heritable and transferable property and matters connected therewith. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement- (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Apartment Ownership Act, 1983. (2) It extends to The whole of the State of Haryana.
