Title: Power of Superintendence over All Courts by the High Court

.....Court in respect of the powers conferred under Section 33 of the Maharashtra Recognition of Trade Unions and Prevention of Unfair Labour Practices Act, 1971, (Maharashtra Act No. 1 of 1972) CHAPTER I-GENERAL 1. The regulations may be cited as "The Industrial Court Regulations 1975". 2. (1) In these Regulations unless repugnant to the subject or the context- (a) "Advocate" means a person who is qualified to be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates' Act and enrolled as such. (b) "Application" means any application in writing under any of the provisions of the Act, Rules or these Regulations. (c) "Commissioner" means a person appointed by the Court for examination of witnesses. (d) "Deponent" with reference to an affidavit means the person who signs the affidavit and also swears to the truth of the statement in the affidavit. THE BENGAL, AGRA AND ASSAM CIVIL COURTS ACT, 1887 THE BENGAL, AGRA AND ASSAM CIVIL COURTS ACT, 1887 (Act XII OF 1887) 11th March, 1887 An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to the Civil Courts in Bengal, the North - Western Provinces and Assam Whereas it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to civil Courts in Bengal, the North-Western Provinces and Assam; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER I Preliminary 1. Title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act, 1887. (2) It extends to the territories (which were on the 11th March, 1887) respectively administered by the Lieutenant- Governor of the North -Western Provinces and the Chief Commissioner of Assam except such portions of those territories as for the time being are not subject to the ordinary civil jurisdiction of the High Court. .....Indian Divorce Act The Court of the District Judge shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any original proceeding under the Indian Divorce Act 1869 (Act No. IV of 1869) and shall be deemed to be the District Court under that Act for the Civil District.
