Indian Boilers (Amendment) Act 2007 Section 13

Title: Substitution of New Section for Section 13

For section 13 of the principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, namely: -- "13. Alteration or renewal of boiler component - (1) Before the owner of any boiler registered under this Act makes any structural alteration, addition or renewal in or to any boiler component attached to the boiler, he shall transmit to the Chief Inspector a report in writing of his intention and send therewith such particulars of proposed alteration, addition or renewal as may be prescribed by regulations. (2) Any structural alteration, addition or renewal referred to in sub-section (1) shall be made by a person possessing a Boiler Repairer certificate under the supervision of the Competent Person.".

.....of this Act, any person makes a statement (a) which is false in any material particular, knowing it to be false; or (b) which omits any material fact knowing it to be material, he shall, save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, and shall also be liable to fine. Bombay Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1958, (Maharashtra) Section 13

.....Maharashtra hereby exempts motor vehicles referred to in sub-clause VI of clause (A) of the First Schedule to the said Act (being motor vehicles manufactured at any place outside India and purchased in India upto the end of the year 1953) from the payment of only so much of the tax as is in excess of 25 per centum of the amount of the tax levied in respect of such vehicles under clause (b) of sub-section (1A) of Section 3 of the said Act. Exemption under this Notification shall take effect on and from the date of registration of each of such motor vehicles immediately following the date of this notification. This Notification was superseded by the Notification given below.
