THE INDIAN FOREST (PUNJAB AMENDMENT) ACT, 1954 THE INDIAN FOREST (PUNJAB AMENDMENT) ACT, 1954 [Act No. 20 of 1954] [11th May 1954] PREAMBLE An Act to amena the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Act XVI of 1927) in its application to Punjab. It is hereby enacted as follows :- Section 1 - Short title and extent (1) This Act may be called The Indian Forest (Punjab Amendment) Act, 1954. Punjab Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 9th March, 1954. (2) It extends to the whole of Punjab.
