Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Pondicherry in the Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Short title, extent and commencement:- 1. (1) This Act may be called the Pondicherry Landing and Shipping Fees Act, 1971. (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of Pondicherry. (3) It shall come into force on such date the Act has been extended with effect from 1-10-1963 under Pondicherry (Laws) Regulation, 1963 vide G. O. No. 36, dated 30-3-1971. as.....
