Preamble1 - Maharashtra Municipal Corporations (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1996 Section1 - SHORT TITLE, COMMENCEMENT AND DURATION Section2 - ELECTION PROGRAMME AND OTHER INCIDENTAL PROVISIONS WITH REGARD TO ELECTION Notwithstanding anything contained in the Section3 - MANNER OF ALLOTMENT AND ROTATION OF SEATS RESERVED FOR SCHEDULED CASTES, SCHEDULED TRIBES, BACKWARD CLASS OF CITIZENS Section4 - PROCEDURE FOR DRAWING LOTS Lots shall be drawn by the Municipal Commissioner or an Officer authorised by him, in the Section5 - REQUISITION OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF GOVERNMENT, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, CORPORATION ETC. FOR ELECTION Notwithstanding Section6 - APPLICATION OF THE RELEVANT MUNICIPAL LAW AND RULES CONTAINED THEREIN OR MADE THERE UNDER Except as otherwise provided Section7 - REMOVAL OF DIFFICULTY If any difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of any of the relevant municipal laws Section8 - DEFINITION OF THE EXPRESSION "RELEVANT MUNICIPAL LAW" The expression "relevant municipal law" in this Act means, Section9 - REPEAL OF MAH. When sufficient number of Section29 - POWER TO ORDER VESSELS NOT TO COME ALONGSIDE OF, OR TO BE REMOVED FROM DOCKS, WHARVES, ETC. Any officer appointed by Section30 - POWER OF GOVERNMENT TO EXEMPT VESSELS FROM OBLIGATION TO USE WHARVES ETC.
