SECTION 02: AMENDMENT OF ENACTMENTS, ETC., FOR DELETION OF REFERENCES TO "FAMINE'' From the commencement of this Act, in all enactments relating to any of the matters enume rated in Lists II and III in the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution of India, in their application to the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as "State laws"), and in all instruments and other documents, the word "famine'' shall be deemed to have been deleted. SECTION 03: AMENDMENTS TO BOM. LXXXIII OF 1958 AND POWER TO ADAPT OTHER STATE LAWS BY NOTIFICATION (1) The enactment specified in column 1 of the Schedule is hereby amended in the manner, and to the extent, shown in column 2 thereof.
