Dated 6.5.2013. A Act further to amend the Kerala Civil Courts Act, 1957. Preamble." WHEREAS, it is expedient further to amend the Kerala Civil Courts Act, 1957 for the purposes hereinafter appearing ; BE it enacted in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:" 1. Short title and commencement." (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Civil Courts (Amendment) Act, 2013. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 11." In sub-section (2) of section 11 of the Kerala Civil Courts Act, 1957 (1 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "one lakh rupees", the words "ten lakh rupees" shall be substituted. 3.
