THE VALIDATING & INDEMNITY [ACT] (COCHIN), 1934 THE VALIDATING & INDEMNITY [ACT] (COCHIN), 1934 [Substituted for 'Regulation' throughout the enactment by Proclamation V of 1112.] [Act No. 10 of 1109] PREAMBLE [14th day of June 1934] Whereas it has become expedient to ratify and validity certain actions taken in the name of the Ernakulam Municipal Council and also to indemnify and protect the individual who took such actions, it is hereby enacted as follows:- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act shall be called "The Validating and Indemnity Act, X of 1109." (2) It shall come into force at once and shall extent to the whole of Cochin and will have retrospective effect from 6 a. m. of the lst of Vrischigam 1109. Section 2 -.....
