PREAMBLE An Act to establish an Autonomous Council for all round accelerated development of the Jharkhand Area. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the forty fifth year of the Republic of India as follows:" Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Jharkhand Area Autonomous Council Act, 1994.
