THE CINEMATOGRAPH ACT, 1952 The Cinematograph Act, 1952 1. Short title, extent and commencement. " (1) This Act may be called the Cinematograph Act, 1952. (2) Pars I, II and IV extend to the whole of India (Note:- Omitted by Act No.25 of 1973) and Part III extends to [(Note:- Subs. by Act 3 of 1959, S.2, for "Part C States".) the Union territories] only.
