Title : Short Title and Extent

(3) The Board shall take the power to co-opt as members of any Committee appointed under sub-section (2) such number of persons who are not members of the Board, as it may think fit. Rubber Act, 1947 Section 15

Title : Provisions Regarding Licences Under Section 14

(1) Every general licence issued under section 14 shall be published by the Board in the Gazette of India and in such newspapers as the Board may direct. (2) A special licence issued under section 14 shall be valid only for such period as may be specified therein : Provided that the Board may from time to time extend the period of validity of any such licence. (3) The Board may at any time for reasons to be recorded by it in writing revoke a special licence granted under section 14, and on such revocation it shall be returned to the Board by the person to whom it was issued. Title : Restriction on Possession of Rubber

(1) No person not being the owner or occupant of an estate or a person who has acquired rubber under a general or special licence issued by the Board under section 14 shall have any rubber in his possession. (2) Any Court trying a contravention of sub-section (1) may, without prejudice to the provisions of section 26, direct that any rubber in respect of which the Court is satisfied that such contravention has been committed shall be forfeited to Government. Title : Implementation of Standards for Quality, Marking, Etc., for Rubber

1[(1) The Board shall implement the standards for quality, marking, labelling and packing for various marketable forms of rubber, for the rubber produced or processed in, imported into or exported from, India.
