Section Text

Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937. If any holder of a licence, permit or pass granted under this Act, or any person in his employ and acting on his behalf, fails to produce such licence, permit or pass on the demand of any officer duly empowered by the State Government, in this behalf to make such demand shall be liable to fine which may extend to 22. Words subs. for the words "for the retail sale of any intoxicant:" by W.B. Act 34 of 1965. [five thousand rupees.]
