Section Text

1) On the application or with the consent of the occupier of any building or land, or, where the occupier of any building or land fails to make arrangements to the satisfaction of the Chief Executive Office for the matters referred to in this section, without such consent, and after giving notice in writing to the occupier, the Chief Executive Officer may undertake the house scavenging of any building or land in the cantonment for such period as he thinks fit on such terms as he may specify in this behalf. (2)Where the Chief Executive Officer has undertaken the duties referred to in this section, all matter removed in the performance of such duties shall be the property of the Board.
