SECTION 26: FRAUDULENTLY INDUCING TO EMIGRATE Whoever, by means of intoxication, coercion or fraud, causes or induces or attempts to cause or induce any person to emigrate, or enter into any agreement to emigrate, or leave any place with a view to emigrating, shall be punishable85[with imprisonment fora term which may extend to three years and with fine: Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary to be mentioned in the judgment at the Court, such imprisonment shall not be less than six months and such fine shall not be less than one thousand rupees.]
