Section Text

For the purposes of sections 87 and 88,a "superior air force authority"means.--

(a) in the case of punishments awarded by a commanding officer, anyofficer superior in command to such commanding officer;

(b) in the case of punishments awarded by anyother authority,the Central Government, 1 [the Chief of the Air Staff] orother officerspecified by 1 [theChief of the Air Staff].
