In one sentence
Organizer is your practice dashboard at Organizer for client case files, hearing dates, reminders, and document storage - a bonus feature for subscribers.
Before you start
Organizer requires a logged-in account with the Organizer bonus feature active (Organizer on your Profile) and a non-expired subscription. It is not part of free search. AI Preview, AI Scholar, and AI Chambers include all bonus features; AI Copilot and AI Associate must select Organizer at signup. If you see a redirect to Pricing, your plan does not include Organizer or it is not activated. Check Dashboard → Profile.
Steps
- Log in and confirm Organizer is in your activated features.
- Open Organizer - the home view lists your Case Files dockets.
- Click New Case File (or go to
/organizer/add). - Complete the form tabs:
- Client - name, mobile, email, address
- Case - case number, parties, court, stage, filing date
- Reminder - hearing date, time (hour/minute pickers), and email/SMS reminder options
- Documents - upload related files
- Click Save Case File - a toast confirms success without a full page reload on supported actions.
- Return to Organizer to see the new entry in your docket list.
- Click a case file to view details, edit, or Export PDF from the file view.
- Use Search or Advanced Search tabs in Organizer navigation to find entries by client name, case number, court, or hearing date.
What you'll see
The Organizer home page shows stats and a sortable list of case files with client and hearing information. Each file view includes tabs for details, documents, and export options. AJAX saves and deletes show brief toast messages at the top of the page. Organizer has its own search at /organizer/search and advanced filters at /organizer/aindex/ - these search your saved files, not the public judgment database.
Common mistakes
- Confusing Organizer Advanced Search with Judgment Advanced Search - Organizer searches your private case files;
/advanced-searchsearches SooperKanoon judgments. - Opening
/organizerwithout the feature activated - you will be redirected to pricing with an upgrade message. - Relying on Organizer for legal research - use Cases for judgments; Organizer tracks your matters and clients.
- Forgetting to set hearing dates - reminders depend on the dates and flags you enter on the Reminder tab.
Tips
- Create one case file per client matter and link related judgments using Favourites, Tags, or Notes on SooperKanoon case pages separately.
- Use Organizer Advanced Search when your docket grows - filter by
hearing, court, orpartiesfields. - Export a case file PDF before court dates for a printable brief of client and matter details.
- Enable rflag on the Reminder tab to send email reminders before hearings.
